The ISO Committee responsible for the development of the standards for product data technology (ISO TC184/SC4) was awarded the prestigious Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award for 2007 at the ISO General Assembly in September 2007 in front of 400 delegates from 125 countries. This award is in recognition for leadership and innovation in the development of standards and is the only award that ISO makes for its technical work. Many of the tutors for the DEPUIS e-learning courses are responsible for the development of the standards for ISO TC184/SC4.
